Star Trek: Review: The Enemy Within

Jim has to face his most imminent threat in his search for new worlds, himself! Jim’s crew lands on a distant panet where it is cold and desolate. He beams back aboard the ship and an evil clone of himself runs amok. It tries to rape Janice and almost succeeds. Eventually they figure out the situation and discovers it happened to a unicorn dog like creature and on rejoining the creature dies. Fearing the same would happen with Jim and his clone they experience hesitation while Sulu and the others almost freeeze to death.

Eventually the two are rejoined and Sulu and the crew rescued. We see Jim is vulnerable and ineffectoiive until the last part. It’s hell on the ship and even worse on the planet below. Jim’s clone wants to live and breaks down. Jim and Shatner, who is still alive today are one in the same in this moment. Jim feels and Shatner projects the part well.
