Star Trek: Review: The Corbomite Maneuver

Jim Kirk has got to be the most egotistical captain in world history. He is snarky, boastful and self-righteous, but he knows what he is doing and I think that’s what officer Bailey has learnt. He has learnt, everyone has learnt not to underestimate the captain and they learn it well each and every time, and more and more. A force out there is testing the enterprise in the form of a cube and a ball whcih seems impossible to evade and now they turn out to be a man child.

This alien who is just playing games and means no harm was scary. It will learn from a once embattled Bailey and Bailey will learn from him. It was a fun episode and an enjoyable one. They dragged it out too much though and they, in the end, made a solid episode. Congrats Gene. Another solid heavy-hitter!
